Lovebirds Were About To Get Married, But Their Moms Found Something Strange

When Romeo and Juliet are madly in love, nothing can stop them from walking down the aisle. It seemed the story would repeat itself for Heidi and Ed as well. Yet a childhood story was revealed at a get together and the two families left them in stunned silence…

1. “You’ve Got Mail”

Shortly after check out, Heidi received a call, and it was the same boy. When the washing machine broke down, and the owner wasn’t answering, Heidi, who had left her number in the apartment, was his only hope. Out of kindness, Heidi made her way back to the old place. Was it just a boy in need and a broken washing machine waiting for her?

2. “La La Land”

The wedding party was like their own La La Land. Friends and relatives were dancing under the sea of lights. It went from a sunset dance to a night pool party. Heidi and Ed joined hands again, just like they did as kids, and danced their fingers upon each others’ lips.

3. “Brief Encounter”

When Heidi found another apartment she wanted, the old one had a new tenant. Heidi handed him over the keys as promised. They barely talked, not even to ask each other’s names. After all, it was just a delivery meeting. Well, was it really just a brief encounter?

4. “(500) Days Of Summer”

It was a family trip to Turkey. 6-year-old Heidi was overjoyed not just because of the sun and surf, but a little boy she encountered. They weren’t just friends, but they held hands and called themselves “boyfriend and girlfriend” like adults. As Kay was talking passionately, Ed and Fiona glanced at each other. It seemed that their confused eyes were telling them something…

5. “Like Crazy”

That cup of coffee changed everything: Heidi knew his name was Ed, and an ineffable feeling started growing. Since then, they became inseparable, and their love of sports made them even more dependent on each other, from skiing together to watching football matches. College time slipped by, and whether to stay or leave, there was no foregone conclusion…

6. “Begin Again”

Everything was now crystal clear. Even though Heidi and Ed hadn’t been in touch with each other for almost 2 decades, they were destined to be together. Fate rekindled their feelings for each other, and the families felt closer than ever…

7. “From Here To Eternity”

Not much has changed in their married life. They are still sports lovers and have traveled to many cities together, and Ed still loves his coffee business. They haven’t returned to Turkey where they first met and fell in love, but will that day be far away?

8. “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face”

A photo from Turkey in June 1997 revealed everything. 6-year-old Heidi’s sweetheart is the Ed she was dating now! Ed’s family also found photos from the trip, and there were not just the two sweethearts, but both families! It was indeed love at first sight…

9. “Once”

There was a reason why the mother and son were so surprised: The trip sounded so familiar. Once some time ago, Ed’s family went to Turkey, too. What was even more surprising was that little Heidi’s boyfriend was also named Ed. Was it just a coincidence? Or was it the same person?

10. “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”

The essence of youth is righteous ardour, which is embodied in venturous love. Even though Heidi chose to become a promotional specialist and Ed opened a coffee shop in London, they never let go of their love for each other. As they looked into each other’s soulful and starry eyes, they knew it was time to make a decision…

11. “Love Actually”

It is said that there is meaning in every event however small it may seem. Once the encounter happened no matter how brief it was, people can affect each other, and ties can form. Heidi and Ed’s encounters changed their lives. It was indeed “Love Actually.”

12. “Her”

If there had been no spark the first time, he paid attention this time. After watching Heidi teach him how to use the washing machine and even help him with the first load, his heart leapt. On the pretext of making her a cup of coffee in return, he knew that he wanted her to stay.

13. “The Vow”

At the end of 2017, Ed and Heidi took their wedding vows at a church that dated back to 1100. The old Derbyshire building was chosen to commemorate the couple’s long history. There they were, under the public eye, and saw what was dearest to each other…

14. “Me Before You”

Heidi Parker has been the apple of her mother’s eye in every aspect since she was a child. She had then turned from a Sheffield girl into a college student to-be with straight-As. It meant that her independent life in Newcastle would begin in no time.

15. “The Apartment”

Outsiders always need a place to live in. After a long search, Heidi eventually settled in an affordable apartment far from campus. Although she was far from satisfied and the house hunting continued, she had no idea that this particular apartment would be the turning point in her future…

16. “Us And Them”

Sometimes moms don’t get along, but luckily their mothers, Kay and Fiona, weren’t like that. It was as if they had known each other for a long time. Before Heidi and Ed knew it, the two mothers had found their common passion: Sailing. “We’re going to be a wonderful family,” everyone thought, until a story one summer vacation was told…

17. “The Photograph”

The mothers decided to team up to find out, but their  memories had dimmed, and there were barely any clues. Sitting despondently at the head of the bed, Kay suddenly stared at a box in the corner. At the bottom of the box was a dusty photo album…
